Here in this version there was too much going on as it would focus on the mom and her son and then on the other guy who's a ghost guide that's dealing with the death of his wife. Overall it wasn't a bad film but I do prefer the 2003 version because it wasn't losing its identity and I knew what the plot entailed as you had a real estate agent(Eddie Murphy) who's wife (Marsha Thompson)mirrors a former ghost's wife (also Thompson)and the ghost (Nathanial Parker)wouldn't cross over until he got answers from his butler(Terrence Stamp) who makes out that the ghosts wife is reincarnated. Together the trio must stop an evil ghost(Leto using a deep voice)and to cross him over.
